Welcome to the Children's Room!
The Children's Room offers the following services:
- Books: The Children's Room has all types of books for children. These include picture books, board books, easy books (first readers), novels, and nonfiction. The Children's Room select books that will meet the variety of interests children have.
- Board Book: Books specifically selected for babies and toddlers. These books are made of sturdy materials that hold up under toddler use.
- Puzzles: Puzzles are available in the Chlidren's Room for the children's use. Spend some time working puzzles with your child. They aid in hand-eye coordination, shape discrimination, and other pre-reading skills.
- Computers: Automated card catalog and multi-media station with encyclopedias, literature based software and educational games.
- DVDs & VHS Tapes: The Children's Room has both DVDs and VHS Tapes available to be checked out. Families are allowed to check out 2 DVDs or VHS tapes from each department at a time.
